International Programs

The International Community School offers two programs for visiting international students between eight and fifteen years old. These programs focus on English language proficiency, academic studies, and cultural awareness. Both programs feature Home Stay living arrangements for the international students in which they live with a local family in McMinnville, Oregon while attending ICS.

The International School Year Program is from September 1 through June 15. It is for the student who wants to attend an American private school on a long-term basis. The International students are in classes with their American counterparts, but with additional language support as needed.

The International Camp Program is designed to introduce the international student, considering enrollment as a full-time student at an American school, to the American cultural, language, academic rigor, and Homestay living that they would experience as a full-time international student. The International Camp Program is a perfect way to determine if this type of educational opportunity is appropriate for a student. Enrollment in these camps may be at any time during the regular school year and may be attended from one week to six months in duration.

ICS is authorized by the U.S. Department of State to enroll non-immigrant alien students

ICS is registered with and approved by the Oregon Department of Education
