International Field Trip

The International Community School offers students the opportunity to take part in a yearly international travel experience. Through the International Trip the students gain first-hand knowledge of a foreign culture and explore other ways of thinking, viewing, and interacting with the world.

The International Trip provides learning experiences well beyond our normal course of study. It allows students to pursue educational objectives outside the classroom and to immerse themselves in a foreign culture.

Students learn best when they are able to compare and contrast their culture with that of another culture while visiting a foreign country. Students going on the International Trip thereby gain a rich, in-depth appreciation and understanding of both cultures.
