About Our Curriculum

The International Community School uses the Oregon Educational Standards as the foundation of our curriculum. The students that graduate from ICS have a high degree of competence, confidence, and skill in the curricular areas as established by the State of Oregon.

In addition, ICS enhances these standards by using elements of curriculum frameworks and teaching pedagogies from some of the leading international schools around the world. By utilizing these international frameworks and pedagogies the students at ICS have a deeper understanding of the art of learning and wider appreciation of the world cultures.
