The International Community School is an official TOEFL iBT Test Center and we offer have an intensive English course that provides exceptional preparation for success with the TOEFL iBT by providing critical information that helps students understand and prepare for the TOEFL iBT.

TOEFL iBT Preparation Course
The classes are small and led by professional English language instructors who have extensive experience with the TOEFL iBT. During the class students will discuss and practice all four skills and gain valuable individual feedback from the instructor, as well as learn tips and tricks that allow for an improved performance and score.

TOEFL iBT Test Location
Since the International Community School is an official TOEFL iBT Test Location all of our students will practice for the TOEFL iBT in the same computer lab where the official TOEFL iBT is administered. This instills confidence in the students and removes the stress and anxiety often experienced by international students in taking this critical test.

OPTIONAL COURSE:
English in the Mainstream
In our constantly changing and highly competitive world, speaking English and a superior grasp of the English language has become the key to personal and professional success. Students wanting to become proficient in English may enroll in our English in the Mainstream course. This course focuses on both conversational and academic English and uses current state-of-the-art techniques.

Students will learn the following skills

• Learn how to summarize information and state an opinion in both speaking and writing
• Learn how to find main ideas quickly and make inferences in both reading and listening
• Improve grammar and vocabulary while practicing all four skills
• Use technology to develop the four skills
